Futsal Escocia Expands Into New Home at Caledonia High School
At Futsal Escocia, we have always believed that the environment players train and play in can have a huge impact on their development, enjoyment, and long-term love for the game.
That is why we are delighted to announce that the vast majority of our West Fife activities will be moving to the brand new Caledonia High School in Rosyth at the end of August or beginning of September.
This is a hugely exciting step forward for everyone involved with Futsal Escocia and will allow us to continue creating one of the best player development environments in Scotland.
At the same time, there is definitely a sense of sadness as we move on from Inverkeithing High School, where Futsal Escocia was born back in 2015. So many memories, friendships, and success stories were created there over the last decade, and the venue will always hold a special place in the history of the club.
However, while we are sad to leave, we are also incredibly excited about the future and the opportunities this move can provide for our players and the wider community.
More Sessions. More Opportunities. More Development.
The move will see 12 Futsal Escocia coaching sessions delivered at the facility every week across Tuesday evenings, Friday evenings, and Sunday mornings and afternoons, alongside brand new small group football sessions on the outdoor astro on Mondays and Fridays.
Our focus and ethos, however, remain exactly the same.
Futsal Escocia will continue to focus on developing players in the right environment while also making sessions as affordable and accessible as possible for families.
The new setup allows us to provide even greater opportunities for players to develop through both futsal and football, with more contact time, more touches of the ball, and more game-related learning experiences.

A Facility Built For Futsal
One of the most exciting aspects of the move is that Caledonia High School has dedicated futsal line markings and futsal goals both inside the sports hall and on the outdoor MUGA area.
This gives players an outstanding environment to train and play in all year round and allows us to deliver sessions in a way that truly reflects the demands of futsal and modern player development.
Creating A Street Football Environment
Another major addition is the outdoor futsal court.
Futsal Escocia players will have FREE access to the court before and after sessions on the days we are delivering sessions there.
For us, this is incredibly important.We are massive believers in creating a street football environment where players can play freely, experiment, compete, solve problems, and express themselves without constant instruction from adults. You could end up with 3-4 hours of futsal for the price of 1!!
Some of the best footballers in the world developed their creativity through informal play with friends -
learning naturally through repetition, freedom, and enjoyment.We want to help bring some of that culture back.
The outdoor court gives players the opportunity to stay behind, play extra games, try new skills, and simply enjoy football and futsal the way it should be enjoyed.
Home of the Futsal Escocia Winter Leagues
The new facility will also become a venue for our hugely popular Futsal Escocia Winter Leagues.
Over the last few years, the leagues have continued to grow and have provided hundreds of players with regular high-intensity matches in an environment focused on development, decision making, and enjoyment.
We are excited to take the next step forward at Caledonia High School and continue building something special for players and families across West Fife and beyond.
