Yesterday evening we traveled north to Dundee, to face the cities futsal side in the Super League. The full-time score was 5-3 to the home team (4-1 at HT). We spoke to our manager, Russell at full-time and here's what he had to say, when reflecting on the game:
"Once again, we can not fault the effort of the team. We pushed Dundee all the way, and when a top side plays us, they know they will be in a game.
Making the top half has provided our players with some invaluable experience against the top sides in the country, and we can be proud of our efforts. We also know that we will keep improving as we gain further experience.
We now look forward to the cup competitions and will do what we can to try and win some silverware in our first season in the top flight.
Congratulations to Dundee on their victory and good luck for what should be an exciting end to the season."
