Our Season So Far

March 17, 2024

Our First Team have qualified for the semi finals of the Scottish Cup after a 5-3 victory over Dundee Futsal Club at the DISC on St Patrick's day.

This is our second semi final in 2 years and it was more pleasing as it was the first time that we have beaten one of the top three sides in the country this year.

In the semi final we have a tough tie against Scottish Champions Perth Saltires, with Aberdeen playing Joga Futsal in the other semi final.

In our league campaign we did well to reach the top 5 but after a couple of disappointing results against Letham and a valiant effort against Perth we are stuck in 5th place on 12 points. With Aberdeen and Dundee still to play, we will be looking to cause an upset.

We are also top of our Super League Cup group with just 1 game played, a 4-2 victory over Letham Santos. Joga Futsal has forfeited this tournament, and we are awaiting details of what this means for semi final qualification. The top 2 sides qualify for the semi finals.

Our B Team have had a fantastic but challenging league campaign. We currently sit are at the top of the league with 4 difficult fixtures remaining.

Stirling University, Dalkeith Thistle and North Merchiston Vale are all still in contention but if we beat Stirling University on Wednesday we will be crowned SFL Edinburgh Champions!!

We were eliminated 9-7 by Glasgow league leaders Ambassadors in the Scottish Cup. A 9-7 defeat we were unfortunate not to win in Glasgow.
