THE ACADEMY WEEK AHEAD
This week is SMALL SIDED GAMES WEEK with different pitch layouts. sizes and conditions. This week provides the players with and opportunity to express themselves and to play with freedom.
We encourage all players to practice the following ball mastery skills that we have been working on recently at home.
We encourage our players to have as much contact time with the ball as possible and they can do additional work from home by accessing the 7mlc site on YouTube (we covered some of his ball mastery last week). His content is fantastic and there's a reason why he has nearly 2m followers. It is also free!! You can access it all here:
BARCELONA TOUR 2026

TEAM SESSIONS
We started our new groups last weekend and they worked very well. We are looking to add to the 2017/18's to prepare the players better for the winter leagues that start in November.
OCTOBER TEAM CAMPS
The team camps are one of the best things we have introduced to our programme and I wish we started them years ago. They allow more time with the players and to cover tactical aspects that we do not get the time to work on at Academy sessions. They also create a better bond and understanding between players. They are perfect preperation for the winter leagues and external competition!!

Futsal Niños
Futsal Niños is for 4-6 year olds and it is the perfect place to start your futsal/football journey.
We have a fantastic wee group emerging at Inverkeithing and we still have limited number of spaces available in this session. You can register your child here:

Player Registration for Futsal Escocia Teams (new players only)
This is the last week we will accept player registrations for the winter. We are inviting more applications at 2018, 2019 and 2020 age groups. You can register here:
Futsal Escocia Teams, Academy Players - Payment Plan - TeamFeePay
Academy players have a discounted rate of £10.99 per month (normally £20). Players who are registered will be eligible to play in our winter leagues that start in November.
3v3 LEAGUES
The final 3v3 of the summer will take place on Sunday 21st of September. Please update the TeamFeePay with availability.
During October we will create 5v5 teams for the Futsal Escocia Winter Leagues that start in November. teams will be created based on team sessions, camps and attendance at the 3v3's over the summer.
MADEIRA TOURNAMENT 2026
We will be taking teams to the Funchal Cup in Madeira 2026. Players for the tournament are selected based on attendance, effort, attitude, performance and their understanding of futsal from sessions and camps. The tournaments are a far higher standard than winter leagues but will provide the players, coaches and parents with valuable learning points and a greater understanding of futsal. STREET FEET CAMPS
The inflatable pitches are being used at all the top football academies across Europe to provide a street football type environment for players to develop greater technical skills, to encourage creativity, and to be more 1v1 dominant. No other academies offer this in Scotland and we are way ahead of the curve in this area, just as we were with futsal. You can book our November camp here:
