It is our final weekly update of 2025, and we start looking forward to what 2026 can bring. I would like to ask every player what they would like to achieve in 2026, and what they can do to achieve it. Be ambitious, but also be realistic.
NEW YEAR MESSAGE
As we welcome the New Year, I would like to say a huge thank you for your continued support, commitment, and trust throughout the past year. Your encouragement from the sidelines and dedication to your child's development plays a massive part in their life and it is our job to supplement that.
I am incredibly proud of the effort, progress and enjoyment shown by all of our players and staff. 2026 promises to be another exciting year of learning, growth, and memorable moments both on and off the court.
We will continue to provide a fun, positive, and high-quality learning environment for every player.

ACADEMY
We return on Monday 5th January 2026 with testing with Eck from Raesde Pro Edge Conditioning. If we get through the testing quick enough, we will finish with games.
We also encourage our players to do additional work from home by accessing the 7mlc site on YouTube (we covered some of his ball mastery last week). His content is fantastic and there's a reason why he has nearly 2m followers. It is also free!! You can access it all here:
SUCCESS STORIES
Congratulations to Harris Wood (Celtic 2016's), Harlen Easton (Hibernian 2016's), and Ethan Ritchie (Dundee 2014's) in signing pro contracts for 2026!! Well done to all 3 players!!
GOALKEEPER EVENT
Train with England's number 1 futsal keeper Jonny Sim on Sunday 4th January 2026. Learn the basics from the very best in the UK. Sessions are open to players between 9 and 15 years of age and are perfect for anyone involved in the winter leagues.

STREET FEET CHRISTMAS CUP
The Street Feet Christmas Cup was a resounding success and it was fantastic to see so many Escocia players involved with their friends and teams. Well done to everyone involved and look out for furthe rinformation on a Street feet Scottish Cup coming in 2026!!
TEAMS
First Team: The next training session is Sunday 4th January 2026, at 3-5pm. We play Edinburgh University in Super League action the following week.
B Team: The next training session is Sunday 4th January 2026, at 3-5pm.
Under 16's: The next training session is Sunday 4th January 2026, at 3-5pm.
Youth Teams: The Futsal Escocia Winter Leagues resume on Saturday the 10th of January 2026.

MADEIRA TOURNAMENT 2026
Our u11's (2015/16's) are confirmed for Madeira 2026.
We are looking at u13, u15, u17 and u19 events later in 2026 and we will be arranging external matches across the UK at all age groups.
Futsal Niños
Our Futsal Niños for 4-6 year olds is going extremely well and the session is now fully booked. I genuinely believe that these sessions are the perfect place to start your futsal/football journey.
Look out for new Futsal Niños sessions starting in west and central Fife in 2026!!
