SUCCESS STORIES
First team players Caleb Holness and Callum Husband were involved for Scotland in the Croatia last week. It was a difficult week for Scotland, losing out to Morocco, Switzerland and Malta. The Morocco match in particular will be of massive benefit to the young squad as they experienced what it is like to play against one of the top nations in the world.
Caleb was also on the scoresheet in the match against Swizerland. Both players will be looking to be involved in the Scotland squad for the World Cup qualifiers in April.
GOALKEEPERS
The feedback from training with Jonny was excellent. We are looking to start monthly goalkeeping specific sessions early this year. Look out for further information coming soon.
TEAMS
First Team: The first team had no match last weekend. Our next league match is a massive match against Aberdeen FA at Michael Woods on Sunday the 1st of February 2026. It would be great to have a big support there to help the team to 3 vital points.
B Team: The B Team had a convincing victory over Napier University last week. Tono Sotelino was the MOTM. This Wednesday they face Stirling University at the Oriam in a top of the table clash.
Under 16's: The next match is against Strathaven Dynamo in the SFL u16 National League at Michael Woods Sunday. Kick off is at 4.10pm.
Youth Teams: The Futsal Escocia Winter Leagues continue next weekend with matches from Liga 2-7 (Liga 1 and 8 are off for u16 and first team matches). Here is the Futsal Escocia Team of the Week from last week!! Well done everyone.
INTERNATIONAL TOURNEMENTS
Our u11's (2015/16's) are confirmed for Madeira 2026 but we want to expose our players to more futsal outside of Scotland.
We are looking at u13, u15, u17 and u19 events in the Easter and Summer breaks. We will be arranging external matches across the UK at all age groups. We already have interest from Carlisle, Manchester, and Sala Soccer (Manchester) for matches during the Easter break.
STREET FEET SCOTTISH CUP 2026
The Street Feet Christmas Cup was a resounding success and it was fantastic to see so many Escocia players involved with their friends and teams. This year we are looking to run regional events across Scotland with a national final. Competitions are likely to take place during July 2026 with national finals in December.
Futsal Niños
Our Futsal Niños for 4-6 year olds is going extremely well and the session is now fully booked. I genuinely believe that these sessions are the perfect place to start your futsal/football journey.
