ACADEMY
This week is SMALL SIDED GAMES week and an opportunity for players to express themselves with minimal coaching. We are massive believers in small sided games as they provide more touches of the ball, more duals, more decision making, and far greater engagement from the players. Over the course of the hour there will be different pitch layouts, conditions and numbers.
We also encourage our players to do additional work from home by accessing the 7mlc site on YouTube. Individual practice is vital for any aspiring footballer and mastering the fundamentals can be done from home and in their own time. The 7mlc content is fantastic and there's a reason why he has nearly 2m followers. It is also free!! You can access it all here:
PLAYER AWARDS
Congratulations to Adam Prior (18) and Sean Martin (16) for 10 years at Futsal Escocia. They become the 5th and 6th players to receive the 10 years dedication award. For players to still be at the club and involved in futsal for so long is testiment to everyone connected with the club and it is something we are enormously proud of.
There is a pathway for everyone at Futsal Escocia and both players are great examples of what can be achieved with the right effort, attitude and application.
To see them grow from young kids into adults is terrific to see. Well done guys!!

CAMPS
I am delighted to say that the 2015-17 age group for the mornings is now full. Based on numbers, we have adapted the session plans to include as much game time as we can with 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 and 5v5 matches over the 2 and a half hours. We still have spaces in the older group which will be more tactical based. You can register here:

GOALKEEPERS
The feedback from training with Jonny was excellent. We are looking to start monthly goalkeeping specific sessions early this year. Look out for further information coming soon.
TEAMS
First Team: The first team had no match at the weekend. They are back in action against Edinburgh University at Michael Woods this weekend. Come and support the team in a must win 3 points.
B Team: The B Team are out of action for a few weeks as other teams catch up on matches played. We go into the split undefeated.
Under 16's: The u16's were back in league action and defeated Perth on Saturday. It wasn't our greatest performance but the boys took home all 3 points. Jason Downie was nominated man of the match.

Youth Teams: The Futsal Escocia Winter Leagues are on again next weekend, with Liga 1-8 action. It is tight at the top in Liga 2 with just 3 fixtures remaining. The 2012/13's also face Strathaven Dynamo at Michael Woods on Saturday. Here is the Team of the Week from last week. Well done everyone!!

INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENTS
Our u11's (2015/16's) are confirmed for Madeira 2026 and here is the squad that are travelling.

We are trying our best to arrange further matches at u13, u15, u17 and u19 events in the Easter and Summer breaks. We will be arranging external matches across the UK at all age groups. We already have interest from Carlisle, Manchester, and Sala Soccer (Manchester) for matches during the Easter break. This sort of exposure is great for learning more about futsal and creating team bonds.
STREET FEET SCOTTISH CUP 2026
The Street Feet Christmas Cup was a resounding success and it was fantastic to see so many Escocia players involved with their friends and teams. This year we are looking to run regional events across Scotland with a national final. Competitions are likely to take place during July 2026 with national finals in December.

KITS
The previous order should be getting delivered soon. We are also in the process of designing new kits which will be launched later this year. Players will get the opportunity to select what kits they prefer.
If you would like to order any kit, you can do so here:
