Weekly Update

March 30, 2026

ACADEMY

This week is GAMES and medal week. We will throw in favourites like the Futsal Escocia Challenge and Game Changers for everyone to enjoy. The Player of the Block medal is based on effort, attendance, attitude and players overall willingness to develop and improve as a player.

Now that light nights are returning, we encourage our players to do additional work from home by accessing the 7mlc site on YouTube. Individual practice is vital for any aspiring footballer and mastering the fundamentals can be done from home and in their own time. The 7mlc content is fantastic and there's a reason why he has nearly 2m followers. It is also free!! You can access it all here:

EASTER BREAK

ALL SESSIONS ARE OFF BETWEEN MONDAY THE 6TH AND SUNDAY THE 12TH OF APRIL (INCLUSIVE).

Sessions will run as normal until the 5th of April and return as normal on Monday the 13th of April.

RESHUFFLE OF SESSIONS

Every spring we reshuffle things a bit to add a new age group and to work around changes made to players training and match schedules. We do our very best to accommodate all of our players to ensure that they are training in an environment that they will enjoy, learn and develop in. We have added a further session to Inverkeithing on a Sunday which allows us to move players around a little. Session times will change by 30 minutes with 4 sessions between 10am and 2pm. The older group will start later, and this should give more players the opportunity to train after Sunday matches.

We also plan to restructure a Wednesday at Kirkcaldy to incorporate a younger group at 5-6pm. This may mean some players moving to a later session. Parents will be kept up to date with changes.

CAMPS

Places on our next camp are filling up fast and we are nearly full!! Book your place asap to avoid disappointment.

The camp is the 2nd week of the Easter Holidays. As it is World Cup year, and Scotland have qualified, all of our camps will have a World Cup theme with a different player each day. On the Friday we will also have access to our Street Feet inflatable pitches where we will run 2v2 and 3v3 World Cup Tournaments.

GOALKEEPERS

The feedback from training with Jonny was excellent. We are looking to start monthly goalkeeping specific sessions from April onwards. We would also like keepers involved in any small group sessions we start.

TEAMS

First Team: The First Team are in the semi finals of the SFL Super League play-offs and we play league champions PYF Saltires in the best of 3 matches. The winners then progress to a final, where the best of 3 matches with the other semi final winner will qualify for the UEFA Futsal Champions League. Champions League qualification is something that we have targeted as a club and we would love as much support as possible from our players, coaches and parents to help get us there. Come and support the team in Perth this weekend.

B Team: The B Team continued their unbeaten run in the SFL Edinburgh with a 5-0 win over Nerazzurri Futsal Club. We will be looking to defeat North Merchiston Vale in our final match of the season to have a perfect record of 13 wins out of 13 over the season.

Man of the Match was 15 year old keeper Liam Ford. Keeping a clean sheet in futsal is not easy, especially with a 15 year old in goals against men. This highlights exactly what we are doing with our pathway and we will look to include some more players from our u16's in the SFl Edinburgh League Cup.

Under 16's: The u16's remain top of the league with Joga Futsal still to play in what could be a title decider in the u16 National League.

Youth Teams: We had planned to resume activities with 3v3's this weekend but with a lot of players away for easter and the first team match up in Perth, we have decided to delay our return by a couple of weeks

Parents will be updated via email with new start dates once our first team play-off fixtures are confirmed.

FUNCHAL CUP - MADEIRA 2026

We are delighted to announce Calnex as our 3rd sponsor for the 2015/16's that are heading to Madeira. Their logo will go on the sleeve of kits and the funding will be put towards new kit matchdays and travelling for the squad. Thanks to calnex and all of our sponsors for their support.

STREET FEET SCOTTISH CUP 2026

The Street Feet Christmas Cup was a resounding success and it was fantastic to see so many Escocia players involved with their friends and teams. This year we are looking to run regional events across Scotland with a national final. Competitions are likely to take place during July 2026 with national finals in December.

KITS

The previous order should be getting delivered soon. It has been delayed with flight issues in the middle east.

We are also in the process of designing new kits which will be launched later this year (September). Here is our mascot Ricardo wearing some of the designs.

We will get samples to show players soon.
