We are looking forward to our 7th year of Futsal Escocia Youth Winter Leagues starting this Saturday!!
We have 88 teams involved (potentially more after the festive break) from across Fife and even teams travelling from the Lothians, Perthshire and Clackmannanshire to participate.
For teams that have never been involved in the leagues it is important that coaches familiarise themselves with the rules and regulations.
FIXTURES
Please note that fixtures posted are only provisional and are subject to change up until the Wednesday before matches are played. It is important that any fixture changes requested are to be made at least 7 days in advance of the match and only via email to [email protected]. This makes it far easier to manage. Unfortunately I had 3 messages after 10pm last night looking for a change this weekend.

RULES - COACHES CHECKLIST
We have added a couple of new rules this year that we feel will benefit the teams transition from football to futsal and enhance the development of the players.
MATCH BALLS
We normally provide each team with a match ball but with hall hire fees increasing and team fees remaining the same we made a decision to have match balls at each venue. It is vital that the balls remain at each facility!!
If you would like a ball for training, we can provide them for a discounted £10 each.
PARENTAL ACCESS - SCHOOLS
We have been in contact with Community Use Schools and at this time no parents will be permitted to enter the schools to watch the matches. This may be subject to change depending on covid policies. 2 coaches per team and someone streaming the match live on a private platform on social media are permitted access to the hall.
GO LIVE
As detailed above, teams are permitted to go live on a private social media platform. Please ensure you have consent from the opposing team before doing so.
INCIDENT FORM
If there are any issues at your game, please submit an incident form to myself via [email protected]. The form can be found in the league section of our website.
FINALLY
The whole purpose of our leagues is to provide teams and players with the opportunity to experience the wonderful game of futsal. Liga 3-7 are non competitive and this need to be taken into consideration. Allow the kids to play with freedom and encourage and applaud good play from both teams. Lets make a futsal environment an enjoyable one for all the players and coaches involved!!!
