ACADEMY
This week is a bit of fun with some game changers and a focus on awareness, movement and rotations off of the ball. This was something that was highlighted with Scotland in the World Cup. In my opinion, our players are too static and fixed in positions where the top nations are rotating and moving based on how their opponent is set up. The top players problem solve during the game and adapt to different problems. Against Brazil in particular, we looked lost.
Now that light nights are back and the kids are off school, we encourage our players to do additional work from home by accessing the 7mlc site on YouTube. Individual practice is vital for any aspiring footballer and mastering the fundamentals can be done from home and in their own time. The 7mlc content is fantastic and there's a reason why he has nearly 2m followers. It is also free!! You can access it all here:
WEEK OFF
All sessions are off from Sunday the 5th of July to saturday the 11th of July (inclusive). Sessions finish up on Friday the 3rd of July and return on Sunday the 12th.

NOTIFICATION OF CHILD'S ATTENDANCE
Can parents please email or message when their child is not attending a session. Frustratingly, more and more people are failing to send a messageIt doesn't take much to send a messageEspecially over the summer months when numbers are lower.
SIGNING NEWS
Congratulations to Mason Espouy who has signed for St Johnstone 2016's as a 2017 and playing a year up. Mason does 2 futsal academy sessions a week and is involved in our teams. Like all of our players, he still has a lot to improve but he is working hard and has come on a lot the last 6 months in particular.

SMALL GROUP SESSIONS & CAMPS
We are delighted to announce that we have signed up to a new app that allows us to provide feedback on players performance and provide information on what players can do to further develop and take them to the next level.
For us, it is important to provide honest feedback for parents and players who are paying more money for these sessions and we always want to provide value for money.
Feedback will include the following areas:
We are not aware of any local coaching groups going into this level of detail to develop players and at a fraction of the price of 1-2-1 sessions!!!

TEAMS
Now that the adult season have finished, things are a bit quieter with the teams but there are still youth activities taking place over the summer.
Youth Teams: We had some fantastic matches with the 2016's and 2017's playing Strathaven Dynamo last week. It was a really good test agiainst mainly pro players but it also highlighted how futsal knowledge can beat football.
This week we have 3v3 matches and we have 5v5 futsal matches arranged for Sunday the 28th of June.
We are entering tournaments in Aberdeen in July and August and selection for these events will be based on attendance, effort and performance at 3v3's and any other futsal activities.
MADEIRA - FUNCHAL FUTSAL CUP
A 2015/16 squad are also heading to Madeira at the start of July where they will play Ronaldo's boyhood club in one of the 5 group matches. This is an opportunity to experience futsal in one of the best futsal countries in the world. Good luck to all the boys involved and thanks to our sponsors for helping us get there.

STREET FEET SCOTTISH CUP 2026
The Street Feet Christmas Cup was a resounding success and it was fantastic to see so many Escocia players involved with their friends and teams. This year we are running a summer edition in Fife and other regions with the winners competing in national finals that will take place during the festive break in December.
